Famous Texas Game Warden Dies of COVID-19

TEMPLE, TX – One of Texas' most well known game wardens lost his life on Thursday following a bad case of COVID-19.

According to multiple reports, on Aug. 26, famous Texas Game Warden Sgt. Chris Wilson died from COVID-19 complications at Baylor Scott & White's Medical Center.

Wilson is one of the game wardens who is featured on Animal Planet's "Lone Star Law."

After learning of the news a number of game wardens escorted to the mortuary in Temple on Thursday night. 

Funeral services have not been announced at this time.
