Fort Stockton ISD Defies Executive Order Banning Mask Mandates

FORT STOCKTON, TX –– As the mask debates continue, Fort Stockton ISD becomes the most recent school district to defy Governor Abbott's executive order and announce a mask mandate.

Starting Thursday, August 26th, all students, staff, and visitors will be required to wear masks at all district schools and facilities.

The decision was met with mixed reactions online after the district posted the announcement to their social media pages last night.

The district will post additional information as it becomes avaliable.
