Covid-19 Surge Continues in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX –– After weeks of reporting smaller spikes in Covid-19 infections, San Angelo is reporting 46 new infections today in Tom Green County.

This significant increase in infections is now elevating the active case count to 188. For comparison, just a month ago on June 20th, officials only reported 11 active cases.

According to the data, the patients of the newly reported cases continue to overwhelmingly be residents of Tom Green County. The age group of new patients ranges from 1 to 84.
