Active COVID-19 Infections in San Angelo Continue to Decline

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo's COVID-19 outbreak continues to go away as only 51 people are currently infected with the virus.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on May 26, the city's health department reported another seven COVID-19 infections. This brings the total positive infections since Mar. 2020 to 16,886. 

There are currently 51 active COVID-19 infections in Tom Green County. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200.

There are currently 11 patients hospitalized in Tom Green County with COVID-19.

So far there have been 309 COVID-19 fatalities in Tom Green County. 199 of them were residents of the county.
