Only a Fraction of Tom Green County Residents Have COVID-19

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Only .03 percent of Tom Green County residents are currently infected with COVID-19.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on Apr. 29, the city's health department reported another seven COVID-19 infections. This brings the total positive infections since Mar. 2020 to 16,754. 

There are currently 46 active COVID-19 infections in Tom Green County. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200. 

There are currently only four patients hospitalized in Tom Green County with COVID-19.

So far there have been 307 COVID-19 fatalities in Tom Green County. 198 of them were residents of the county.
