Covid-19 Infections Low As San Angelo Surpasses 30,000 Fully Vaccinated

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The daily coronavirus report released by the San Angelo Health Department shows five new infections on Wednesday.According to city officials, there are currently only 43 active cases. 

As active cases continue to drop, vaccination efforts continue to increase as DHS reports 30,899 individuals have now been fully vaccinated in Tom Green County. There are currently 37,171 individuals who have received at least one dose.

According to DSHS data, the following percentages of individuals of certain age groups continues to increase.

Over 65 With 1 Dose 75.29%
Over 65 With 2 Doses 66.02%
