Coronavirus: 10 New Infections Reported in San Angelo


SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo is closing the second week of April with ten new coronavirus infections. Additionally, there are two patients hospitalized.

According to DSHS, currently, 24,901 individuals have been fully vaccinated in Tom Green County while 33,708 have received one dose.

  • Total positive cases: 16,646
  • Active cases: 66
  • Currently hospitalized: 2
  • New positives for today: 10
  • Released: 13 cases/contacts of cases (12 cases/1 contacts of cases) since April 7

*14 cases did not request release letters and are past their isolation period so therefore can be released from state/local monitoring.
