More COVID-19 Patients Released from Isolation in Tom Green County

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – 16 COVID-19 patients were released from isolation on Friday bringing the active case count back down to the 180s.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on Friday, Mar. 19, the San Angelo's Health Department reported another eight COVID-19 infections and no fatalities.

That brings Tom Green County's total count since March 2020 to 16,514. There are 119,200 residents in Tom Green County.

Seven of the eight cases Friday came from Antigen tests. The other was a PCR test.

There are currently eight COVID-19 patients in the hospital.

The COVID-19 death toll in San Angelo is 306. 198 fatalities from Tom Green County residents and 108 from out of county.

There are currently 186 active COVID-19 cases in Tom Green County.
