Active COVID-19 Cases Drop Below 200

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The number of active Covid-19 cases continue to drop in Tom Green County.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on Monday, Mar. 8, the San Angelo's Health Department reported another 10 positive COVID-19 cases.

That brings Tom Green County's total count since March 2020 to 16,425. There are 119,200 residents in Tom Green County.

Of Tuesday's 10 new cases 1 were PCR tests and 9 were Antigen test.

There are currently 13 COVID-19 patients in the hospital.

The COVID-19 death toll in San Angelo is 301. 194 deaths from Tom Green County residents and 107 from out of county.

There are currently 185 active COVID-19 cases in Tom Green County.
