Covid-19 Statistics Trending Down in Tom Green County

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Health officials report Friday that Covid-19 infections and hospitalizations continue to decline in the area.  

Gov. Greg Abbott earlier this week announced the mask mandate in public may be lifted soon if the statistics continue heading in the right direction.

February 26, 2021 COVID-19 report

Total positive cases: 16,324

Active cases: 558

Currently hospitalized: 16

New positives for today: 14

Released: 36 cases/contacts of cases (24 cases/12 contacts of cases) since Feb. 24
