Meals for The Elderly to Deliver Water to Elderly

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The access to clean drinking water continues to be restricted in a large area of San Angelo and it especially affects elderly individuals who are homebound.

In response, Meals for The Elderly will be providing bottled water to elderly and homebound recipients in San Angelo and Miles.

Individuals who are not currently receiving meals through the program they can contact United Way of the Concho Valley at 325-949-3716 to have water delivered to their residents.

Due to hazardous conditions, Meals for the Elderly will not be open today. 

In preparation for the weather today they sent out additional water and food to all recipients yesterday along with their normal meals.
