Total Coronavirus Cases Surpass 11,000 In Tom Green County

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- On Thursday, the San Angelo Health Department confirmed 103 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total positive case past 11,000.

San Angelo originally surpassed the 5,000 mark back on November 1st.

According to health officials, today's cases brings the active case count to 1,553, with at least 69 patients hospitalized.

Thursday's cases were confirmed using 26 PCR tests and 77 antigen tests.

The total positive case count is 11,014.
