The COVID-19 Vaccine is Arriving in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – After months of battling COVID-19, Shannon Health System and the City of San Angelo confirmed that San Angelo will receive the first shipment of the vaccine Tuesday.

According to Shannon and the City of San Angelo, on Dec. 15, 1,950 Pfizer vaccines will arrive at Shannon.

The first doses will go those healthcare workers who have highest potential for direct contact or exposure to COVID-19

Pfizer is going to deliver around 3 million doses across America by the end of the week. 

The rapid shipment of vaccines is part of the US's "Operation Warp Speed" which was set up by President Trump's administration.
