Covid-19: Tom Green County Hospitalization Rate Steady

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Covid-19 hospitalization rate continues to fall in San Angelo. 

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on Dec. 9, the San Angelo's Health Department reported another 136 new positive COVID-19 cases.

That brings Tom Green County's total count since March to 10,268. There are 119,200 residents in Tom Green County.

There are currently 86 COVID-19 patients in the hospital. Yesterday Shannon reported 90 patients in the hospital.

Also today the health department reported four more deaths bringing the total death count to 178.

Yesterday there were 1,585 active COVID-19 cases in Tom Green County. The city's public information office is expected to release more numbers later today.
