Tom Green County Passes 10,000 COVID-19 Cases

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Tom Green County passed 10,000 positive COVID-19 cases Monday.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on Dec. 7, the San Angelo's Health Department reported another 113 new positive COVID-19 cases.

That brings Tom Green County's total count since March to 10,050. There are 119,200 residents in Tom Green County.

There are currently 85 COVID-19 patients in the hospital. Yesterday Shannon reported 72 patients in the hospital.

Also today the health department reported four more deaths bringing the total death count to 171.

Yesterday there were 1,622 active COVID-19 cases in Tom Green County. The city's public information office is expected to release more numbers later today.
