Coronavirus: Will Tom Green County Break Records This Week?

SAN ANGELO, TX -- After reporting a record-breaking 848 new cases of coronavirus last week, hospitalizations seem to remain steady.

On Monday, the San Angelo Health Department reported 85 new cases of COVID-19. At least 65 cases of the day's cases belong to Tom Green County residents.

With patients from ages 1 to 96, Monday's cases include patients from every age group.

  • Under 10 - 3 cases
  • 10s - 8 cases
  • 20s - 15 cases
  • 30s - 12 cases
  • 40s - 9 cases
  • 50s - 9 cases
  • 60s - 10 cases
  • 70s - 5 cases
  • 80s - 8 cases
  • 90s - 6 cases

There are currently 54 patients hospitalized, and the total positive case count is only a handful of cases from surpassing 6,000 cases.

Monday's cases were confirmed using 40 PCR tests and 45 antigen tests.
