SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angeloans gathered Saturday on the steps of City Hall for a Rally to End COVID Tyranny.
The rally was organized by Caleb Wallace with the San Angelo Freedom Defenders calling for an end to being forced to wear face masks by the government.
There were several speakers who were critical of Gov. Greg Abbott's executive orders requiring face covers in public.
There are signs posted on the doors of City Hall reading 'Face Coverings Required.'
The speakers agreed that the 15 day lockdown to flatten the curve has now lasted seven months and they have had enough. They say it is time to open Texas completely and end the mask mandate.

The crowd included members of the John Birch Society, the Republican National Hispanic Assembly, The San Angelo Freedom Defenders and many active Republicans. Libertarian Candidate for Congress Wacy Alpha Cody was also in attendance.
Sydnee Davis of San Angelo sang the National Anthem. See the video below:
