Coronavirus: 25 New Cases on Saturday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- On Saturday afternoon, the San Angelo Health Department confirmed  25 new cases of coronavirus.

Saturday's cases saw an increase in the number of children under 18 who tested positive for the virus. Previously patients in their 20s and  3os appeared to be the highest testing population.

Of the 25 cases, only two belonged to residents of neighboring counties.

There are currently 271 active cases in Tom Green County, and 15 patients are hospitalized.
