Coronavirus: Hospitalizations Drop Below 20 In Tom Green County

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Hospitalizations continue to steadily drop as the San Angelo Health Department confirms less than 20 patients are currently hospitalized for coronavirus-related illnesses. 

But even as hospitalizations drop, new cases continue to be reported on a daily basis. According to the data provided by the city, 14 new cases were confirmed on Friday. The cases were confirmed using 10 PCR tests and 4 antigen tests.

Friday’s patients included multiple children from Tom Green County including:

  • 9-month-old Hispanic female
  • 6-year-old White female
  • 15-year-old Hispanic female
  • 15-year-old White male

There are currently only 18 patients hospitalized as the total positive case rate reaches 3,316.
