Coronavirus: City Confirms 28 New Cases and 3 Deaths

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The City of San Angelo has confirmed 28 new cases and 3 new deaths on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the data reported by the health department confirmed the cases using 15 PCR tests and 13 antigen tests. 

More than 70 percent of Wednesday’s new cases belong to patients over the age of 30.

In addition to the cases, officials also confirmed three new coronavirus deaths by the San Angelo Health Department.

  • Male, 80s, Concho County
  • Male, 80s, Schleicher County

According to city officials, the total death count has now reached 53 patients; 39 cases are residents from Tom Green while the remaining 14 are residents of neighboring counties.
