Anson Elementary Confirms Two Coronavirus Cases

 

ANSON, TX — Yet another school district has announced positive COVID-19 cases as students return to on-line sessions.

On Monday, Anson Independent School District confirmed two staff members at the Anson Elementary School have coronavirus.

Parents received a letter from Superintendent Jay Baccus to inform them of the new development.

The letter stated the school had sanitized the employees' work area and that all district employees and students have been instructed to follow CDC guidelines and recommendations. 

Individuals who had close contact with the two positive employees have been notified. The 14-day incubation for possible exposure will end on September 7.
