Nearly 1/3 of Saturday's 33 New COVID-19 Cases Are From Out of Town

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— On Saturday, August 22, the San Angelo Health Department confirmed 33 new cases of coronavirus.

According to the city the cases were confirmed using 25 PCR tests and 8 antigens. Nearly 30 percent of the cases reported on Saturday identify the patients as residents of out counties.

There are currently 716 active cases and the total number of cases reported is 3,056.

There are currently 50 patients hospitalized due to COVID-19 hospitalizations.
