Less Than 20 New Coronavirus Cases Reported Tuesday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo reported 19 new cases of COVID-19 in Tom Green County on Tuesday. 

According to the City of San Angelo, on August 18, since the beginning there have been 2,942 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Tom Green County. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200. 

Hospitalizations have decreased from 48 to 47 since Monday. No deaths have been reported today as of 1:30 p.m. but overall COSA has announced 45 deaths: 34 from Tom Green County and 11 from other counties.

Last Tuesday there were 822 active cases of coronavirus in Tom Green County. Today the city reported 776 active cases. 

Out of the 19 new cases 11 were PCR cases and 8 were antigen cases.
