Coronavirus: Dramatic Drop in Number of Confirmed Cases Tuesday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo reported only 36 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. 

According to the City of San Angelo, on July 28, since the beginning there have been 2,082 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in San Angelo. San Angelo has a population of 100,215. 

Hospitalizations remain steady at 43 with 8 patients in the ICU. There have been a total of 233 patients admitted into the hospital. Overall COSA has announced 20 deaths in San Angelo. One of those deaths was reported today. Here is the story: San Angelo Reports 20th Coronavirus Death

There are 874 current active cases of Coronavirus in San Angelo but the city has released 1,063 cases so far. 

As of July 27 COSA has reported 12,593 tests administered with 9,625 of those test coming back negative. 

Today the 36 new tests come from 13 PCR tests and 23 Antigen tests. Here they are:
