Coronavirus Skyrocketing in Permian Basin

MIDLAND/ODESSA, TX – Midland and Odessa are currently getting bombarded with new coronavirus cases. 

Midland County reported 95 new cases on June 22. The same day Ector County reported 34 new cases. 

Since the beginning of the month cases in Ector Co. are up 52% and Midland Co. are up 68%. 

10 patients have died in the two counties due to COVID-19 complications.
