Three New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Brownwood

 

BROWNWOOD, TX – Brown County confirmed three more positive COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. According to KTXS, two of the three new cases have ties to Brownwood Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Two of the cases were confirmed after the individuals were tested at a mobile drive on Saturday and both confirmed they had direct contact with an employee of the nursing home.

The third patient recently moved to Brownwood, had limited travel outside of the county, and no known contact with a positive case.

48 out of the 54 positive cases have been directly connected to one nursing home. All seven deaths are also connected to the facility.
