Free Face Masks to be Distributed in 3 San Angelo Locations

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo has announced two more days during which dispensable face masks will be distributed free of charge.

The masks are donated by Principal LED, Ener-Tel, and the San Angelo Health Foundation and can be picked up at the following locations,

Tuesday

  • 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – San Angelo Stadium (1902 Knickerbocker Road)
  • 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. – Foster Communications Coliseum (50 East 43rd St.)
  • 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Texas Bank Sports Complex (1615 Rio Concho Drive)

Wednesday

  • 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – San Angelo Stadium (1902 Knickerbocker Road)
  • 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. – Foster Communications Coliseum (50 East 43rd St.)
  • Noon to 8 p.m. – Texas Bank Sports Complex (1615 Rio Concho Drive)

The distribution site at San Angelo Stadium will be the same as last time. There will be one entrance and one exit to the site off of Johnson Street. 

At the Foster Communications Coliseum distribution site, citizens will enter the site at the main entrance off Coliseum Drive and will exit onto Grape Creek Road. 

Citizens will access the Texas Bank Sports Complex distribution site by way of Rio Concho Drive and will exit by way of St. Ann Street. 

The disposable masks that are being handed out are not N95 masks or respirator masks.

Locations will be manned by City employees and masks will be handed to citizens in their vehicles as they drive through. There will be a limit of seven masks per car/household.

“Please only request masks that you need for you and your household,” said the city in a statement. “This helps ensure as many people in the community as possible are able to receive masks.”

Contact between drivers and City staff will be as limited as possible and walk-ups are not allowed.
