Coronavirus: Taylor County Nears 350 Cases

 

ABILENE, TX – The Abilene-Taylor County Health District announced over the weekend that they are nearing 350 coronavirus cases. 

Abilene officials have confirmed that they have conducts 2,866 tests. 349 of those tests are positive, 225 are still active, 119 have recovered and 5 patients have died. 

The following is a age of each case: 

  • 0-19 - 9
  • 20-29 - 75
  • 30-39 - 80
  • 40-49 - 54
  • 50-59 - 70
  • 60-69 - 23
  • 70+ - 20

221 of the active cases are currently self isolated. The other four are hospitalized. 

The following is how each patient contracted COVID -19 

  • Recent Travel - 8
  • Local Transmission - 72
  • Contact with Confirmed Case - 147
  • Pending investigation - 122
