Coronavirus: Odessa PD Officer Tests Positive

 

ODESSA, TX – On Tuesday, April 14 the City of Odessa confirmed an Odessa PD officer has tested positive for coronavirus.

According to CBS7, the mayor confirmed over Facebook Live that the city has set up a separate location for first responders that wish to quarantine themselves if they have worked with someone that has tested positive and they don’t want to go home.

First responders who do test positive are offered an alternative location for their recovery.

No identifying information has been released regarding the age or gender of the officer.
