San Angelo Area Clinics Receive $1.5 Million To Fight Coronavirus

SAN ANGELO, TX – Two San Angelo Area Health Centers have been selected to receive nearly $1.5 million coronavirus relief funds. The clinics are Frontera Healthcare Network in Eden and La Esperanza Clinic in San Angelo.

“While medical professionals in Texans are doing everything they can to combat this outbreak, the federal government should make sure they have every resource at their disposal,” said Cornyn.

According to Senator John Cornyn, the clinics will be receiving grants to help fight the spread of coronavirus. Frontera will be receiving $651,620 and La Esperanza Clinic will receive $822,080. The grants are part of the funding that was approved last month by Congress.

“I applaud local leaders for their efforts to secure these grants, and I’m grateful to the Trump Administration for continuing to make health centers in San Angelo a high priority.”
