Commissioner: County Parks Playground Equipment Off Limits

SAN ANGELO, TX – Tom Green County Commissioner Rick Bacon on Friday announced playground equipment in all Tom Green County parks is now off limits. 

Here is what Commissioner Bacon Posted: By order of the Public Health Authority effective April 1, 2020 all playground equipment located in the county is off-limits as well as overnight camping at County Parks this includes RV rentals. Parks are open but groups of more than 10 are not allowed and social distancing must be maintained. Boat ramps are open for loading and unloading and only family members may be in the boat. This order will remain in effect until rescinded by the Public Health Authority.
