Hot Dog Buns Sold at Walmart Recalled in 18 States, Including Texas

THOMASVILLE, GA -- Flower Foods has announced a recall of hot dog buns sold at stores like Walmart due to a potential choking hazard, the company announced on Tuesday.

In a press release, the company said their hamburger and hot dog buns, along with other bakery products, could contain small pieces of hard plastic. If consumed, consumers could choke. That prompted the voluntary recall.

The buns, various in names, were distributed to retailers in 18 different states. Texas was one of those states. Walmart is one of the retailers that the buns were shipped to.

A list of the buns can be found here.
