SAN ANGELO,TX- The San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department will be closed Monday, Oct. 3, through Thursday, Oct. 6, as its nurses attend training in Austin. The weekly shot clinic that would normally be conducted on Tuesday will instead be on Friday, Oct. 7.
Health Department staff will be at an annual conference on sexually transmitted diseases and HIV most of next week.
The shot clinic will be from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7. The Health Department is in Suite 8 at 2030 Pulliam St.
The Texas Vaccines for Children program provides free vaccines to health care providers to immunize uninsured and underinsured children from birth to 18 years of age.
The Health Department is open 8 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
