Life-Threatening Ranch Dressing Has Been Recalled

 

A nationwide recall is in effect as of June 23, 2015 regarding Wishbone Ranch Salad Dressing variety. Pinnacle Foods Group LLC has voluntarily recalled a total of 8,678 cases of the 24 oz. ranch dressing bottles which were shipped all over the United States. The recall is a result of a mix-up during packaging. Wishbone Blue Cheese Dressing was inadvertently packed in the Wishbone Ranch Salad Dressing bottles. Blue cheese dressing contains eggs, an allergen not declared on the package.

Those who have food allergies or severe sensitivity to eggs are at risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. The product is safe to eat if you do not suffer from allergies brought on by eggs. There are no known illnesses reported at this time. All affected distributors and retail customers are being notified.

Before you purchase a bottle of Wish-Bone Ranch Salad Dressing, make sure you check the Best Used By date found on the neck label of the bottle. Do not buy a bottle marked with the date FEB-17-16 and a UPC CODE of 0-41321-00661-6. Consumers who may have bought the product can return it for a full refund at the store purchased.
