Ella Langley Concert Tour to Swing Through Texas as Hit Song Makes History

AUSTIN, TX — While Ella Langley’s hit song, “Choosin’ Texas,” continues to make music history, she’s preparing to visit the Lone Star State next month.

Langley will perform at the Moody Center in Austin on Aug. 13, the Hilliard Center in Corpus Christi on Aug. 14 and Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on Aug. 15.

She’ll return to Texas to perform at United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock on Oct. 10.

Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” is currently the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 for a 15th week. It now trails only Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” for the longest run atop the Hot 100 by a female artist. That song was No. 1 for 22 weeks.

She recently surpassed Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together” (2005) and Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” (1992-93), which spent 14 weeks at No. 1.

Langley has tied Harry Styles’ “As it Was,” which spent 15 weeks atop the charts in 2022.

Langley, a 27-year-old from Hope Hull, Alabama, released her debut studio album, Hungover, in 2024. It had hits such as “You Look Like You Love Me” and “Weren’t for the Wind.”

Her second album, Dandelion, was released this year and features “Choosin’ Texas.”
