SAN ANGELO, TX — As San Angelo prepares for the 2026 Star-Spangled Banner Concert & Fireworks tomorrow, San Angelo LIVE will broadcast all major updates through its official mobile app. Throughout July 3, the app will deliver real-time information on parking availability, any schedule changes, street closures, and traffic conditions in downtown San Angelo.

The free event, organized by San Angelo LIVE and Downtown San Angelo Inc., is set for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3, at the newly renovated San Angelo River Stage. The Rich O’Toole Band will headline, with the Jacob Soto Band opening the show. Gates open at 12 noon, and the evening will culminate with the Largest Fireworks Display in the history of San Angelo between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

This sixth annual celebration promises a classic San Angelo-style Independence Day kickoff with live Texas music, patriotic pageantry, food vendors, and family-friendly fun along the Concho River. An estimated 12,000+ attendees are expected.

Live Music and Patriotic Program

Music begins at 6:30 p.m. with the Jacob Soto Band, followed by headliner Rich O’Toole Band. The program will also feature the San Angelo Community Band and special patriotic elements, including a Joint Services Honor Guard colors presentation and the National Anthem.

VIP Experience

VIP access includes the Sugg Switch Ranch Happy Hour, the Sonny Cleere Ice Cream Party, and a Pulled Pork barbecue dinner served on the floor of the River Stage. VIP tables and private riverfront cabanas are available by reservation (call 325-655-2345). General admission is free with first-come, first-served seating on the grass or bleachers.
