Harry Potter HBOMax Series Drops First Trailer

HOGWARTS— The first trailer for HBO’s Harry Potter television series has released.

HBOMax has released the first trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter series that will premiere on the streaming platform. The series will take us through the Harry's time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Reportedly, each season of the show will be 1 book with 7 seasons planned. It has been reported that the show will not come out yearly.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is of course based on the book by J.K Rowling. The cast includes:

  • Dominic McLaughlin- Harry Potter

  • Alastair Stout- Ron Weasley

  • Arabella Stanton- Hermione Granger

  • John Lithgow- Albus Dumbledore

  • Paapa Essiedu- Severus Snape

  • Jenet McTeer0 Minerva McGonagall

  • Nick Frost- Rubeus Hagrid

  • Paul Whitehouse- Argus Filch

  • Luke Thallon- Quirinus Quirrell

  • Lox Pratt- Draco Malfoy

  • Bel Powley- Petunia Dursley

  • Daniel Rigby- Vernon Dursley

  • Kathrine Parkinson- Molly Weasley

  • Leo Earley- Seamus Finnigan

  • Bertie Carvel- Cornelius Fudge
