Mutant Dinosaurs Run Amok in Newly Released Jurassic World Rebirth Trailer

HOLLYWOOD— Mutant dinosaurs are running rampant in the new Jurassic World Rebirth trailer.

A new trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth has been released online and features the new big, bad dinosaur, the Distortus Rex. The new rex is an amalgamation that looks like a mix of the T-Rex, the Xenomorph from Alien, and the Rancor from Star Wars.

Rebirth will not only feature the Distortus Rex, but also returning are the Titanosaurus, Velociraptor, Quetzalcoatlus, Dilophosaurus, Spinosaurus, Mosasaur, and the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The synopsis for Jurassic World Rebirth reads:

“Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived.

The three most colossal creatures within that tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.

(Scarlett) Johansson plays skilled covert operations expert Zora Bennett, contracted to lead a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material from the world’s three most massive dinosaurs.

When Zora’s operation intersects with a civilian family whose boating expedition was capsized by marauding aquatic dinos, they all find themselves stranded on an island where they come face-to-face with a sinister, shocking discovery that’s been hidden from the world for decades.”

Jurassic World Rebirth is directed by Gareth Edwards, who helmed Rouge One: A Star Wars Story, Godzilla (2014), and Monsters. The dino flick features the following cast:
