SAN ANGELO, TX — Tonight, Feb. 27, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Arc Light Sports Bar & Grill inside the Clarion Hotel, 441 Rio Concho Dr., San Angelo men are invited to attend the monthly 100ManSanAngelo [dot] com event to raise money for San Angelo causes.
The price for admission is a $100 donation. That donation gets you free beer or well drinks and free food provided by the Concerned Veterans of America. We thank Thurman Ragsdale at CVA for his organization's generosity in helping promote worthy local charity causes.
In addition, each $100 donor will vote to decide where the entire amount of donations gathered this evening will go. If we attract 100 men — $100 donors — it means the chosen charity will receive a $10,000 gift for the group.
This is not only an excellent opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing and growth of San Angelo, but also an excellent networking opportunity. Who's who of San Angelo businesses will be there.
Each of three local non-profit organizations will make presentations on the largest video wall in San Angelo. Participants will then vote on the organization that will be awarded the (up to) $10,000 gift. Those organizations are:
Hopper Recovery House
Hopper House is a faith-based transitional facility where new members begin with a 17-business-day intake process in the HOW Building, a rent-free dormitory emphasizing Honesty, Open-Mindedness, and Willingness. During this phase, they follow a structured schedule of meetings, programming, and ministry work.
After evaluation, members either transition into the full six-month program, move to regular housing, transition to one of our one one bedroom one bathroom efficiency apartments or are referred elsewhere. Women have a similar but more limited program. After six months, members either dig deeper within the Hopper House program or transition into independent living outside of the Hopper House. More.
Concho Valley Regional Food Bank
It's mission is nourishing the hope of ending hunger in the Concho Valley by connecting our neighbors experiencing hunger to food. The Food Bank envisions a thriving community that partners to ensure everyone has access to sufficient nutritious food. More.
Mighty Waters
At Mighty Waters, our purpose is to provide women conquering cancer with a sanctuary for rest, renewal, and connection. Through transformative retreat experiences, we empower women to rediscover joy, hope, and strength on their journey to healing. More.
