HOLLYWOOD, CA— The third entry into the Deadpool trilogy, “Deadpool & Wolverine”, has dropped an extended television spot 10 days before the movie hits theaters.
Marvel has released a new, minute long TV spot for the next Deadpool movie and it features Lady Deadpool. Dogpool, and a host of other characters including ones from previous Deadpool movies like Blind Al and the movie’s villain, Cassandra Nova.

If rumors are to be believed, just about every character from Marvel comics will appear, including a possible appearance by Taylor Swift as Lady Deadpool or by Ryan Reynolds’ real-life wife, Blake Lively.
The two heroes face off against Nova, the twin sister to Charles Xavier, who threatened the multiverse. The TVA, Time Variance Authority, enlists Deadpool, who dubs himself “Marvel Jesus.”
The family-friendly synopsis for Deadpool & Wolverine reads:
“Wolverine is recovering from his injuries when he crosses paths with the loudmouth Deadpool. They team up to defeat a common enemy.”
Of course, in true Deadpool fashion, the profanity-filled synopsis reads:
“Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date — Deadpool & Wolverine. A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his home world faces an existential threat, Wade must, reluctantly, suit up again with an even more reluctantlier… reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to – f***. Synopses are so f***ing stupid.”
Shawn Levy, who directed Free Guy and Real Steel, sits in the director’s chair.
The cast includes:
- Ryan Reynolds (Free Guy, Van Wilder) as Wade Wilson/Deadpool
- Hugh Jackman (Real Steel, The Greatest Showman) as James “Logan” Howlett/Wolverine
- Emma Corrin (The Crown, My Policeman) as Cassandra Nova
- Matthew Macfadyen (Succession, Pride & Prejudice) as Mr. Paradox
- Morena Baccarin (Gotham, Spy) as Vanessa Carlysle
- Rob Delaney (Misson Impossible: Dead Reckoning, Argylle) as Peter
- Leslie Uggams (Fallout, Empire) as Blind Al
- Karan Soni (Detective Pikachu, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse) as Dopinder
- Briana Hildebrand (The Exorcist, Lucifer) as Negasonic Teenage Warhead
- Stefan Kapicic (The Las Voyage of the Demeter, The Brothers Bloom) as Colossus
Other Marvel characters from different films expected to make an appearance are Sabretooth, Pyro, Elektra, Toad, Lady Deathstrike, Azazel, Juggernaut, Happy Hogan, Thor, Hulk, and Shatterstar.
Deadpool & Wolverine slices and dices its way into theaters on July 26, 2024.
