It’s ‘Kids Day Out’ at Kirby Park

SAN ANGELO, TX—The third annual Kid’s Day Out is currently taking place at Kirby Park, 1401 Edmund Blvd.

The event, which is centered around kite flying from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., also features arts and crafts, a basketball arcade, miniature golf, and more.

One of the highlights of the event is the DIY Kite Decorating Challenge.

Participants pay a $5 entry fee for a DIY kit to personalize their kite, and awards and prizes will be given for the most creative designs.

The concession stand will be open throughout the day, offering food and drinks.

The CLFE Network, the Blackshear Heights Family, and the ADACCV organizations provide free kites.
