SAN ANGELO, TX — A Netflix thriller dubbed “Alone” stars Marc Menchaca, a San Angelo native.
The film, which premiered in 2020, also stars Jules Willcox, known for her work in "Bloodline."
Netflix describes "Alone" as a suspenseful thriller about a lone traveler who escapes from the city in search of a new beginning only to encounter a "sadistic stalker" in the wilderness.
The movie is over an hour and a half long and is rated “R.”
We’ve done several stories regarding Menchaca, the San Angelo man who recently appeared in a Super Bowl commercial.
In 2016, we reported that Menchaca came home for a movie premiere when he starred in the movie "Reparation."
In 2014, Menchaca spoke to San Angelo LIVE! regarding his role as a director for the film “This Is Where We Live.”
