Texas's Favorite Snack is Made Where?

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Texas's favorite snack is not made in the Lone Star State. We'll get to that in just a minute. As National Snack Day approaches on March 4th, a recent study by Hubscore unveils insights into America's snack preferences by state. 

With 73% of consumers indulging in snacks at least twice daily, the demand for these tasty treats remains robust.

Hubscore, an entertainment analysis platform, has examined 20 trending snacks to discern America's top five favorites in each state. 

The comprehensive report discloses Cheetos as the reigning champion of snacks in the Lone Star State. Cheetos are distributed by Frito-Lay based in Texas, but the tasty snack is made in Arkansas.  

While Rice Krispies Treats clinched the top spot as the nation's favorite snack in 18 states, Texans stood out by choosing Cheetos as their snack of choice. The rankings for the most popular snacks in Texas in 2024 are as follows:

  • Cheetos
  • Fritos
  • Doritos
  • Cheerios
  • Starburst
