Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet Call it Quits

LOS ANGELES, CA — Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa, who have been a couple for 18 years, are parting ways as Bonet has filed for divorce from Momoa. Bonet, 56, legally named Lilakoi Moon, filed divorce documents in Los Angeles County court, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. The filing outlines their agreement to share joint custody of their 16-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son, without seeking financial support from each other.

Momoa, known for his roles in the "Aquaman" movies and "Game of Thrones," married Bonet in 2017, following their relationship that started in 2005. The divorce documents list the separation date as October 2020, preceding their public announcement of separation by over a year. A judge is expected to declare their divorce at least six months from now.

This was Momoa's first marriage while it was the second for Bonet, who was previously married to musician Lenny Kravitz and has a daughter, actor Zoë Kravitz, with him. Bonet gained fame from her roles in "The Cosby Show," and its spinoff "A Different World," as well as in films like "High Fidelity" and "Enemy of the State."
