SAN ANGELO, TX - Downtown San Angelo is gearing up for the "Sheep on the Shelf" event scheduled for today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Organized by local businesses, this festive activity promises a delightful experience for participants of all ages.
Participants are invited to embark on a journey through Downtown San Angelo, engaging in the "Sheep on the Shelf" stroll. The rules are simple:
- Pick Up a Card: Guests can grab a card from any of the participating locations listed on a stroll map. The map serves as a guide, leading participants to various spots within the downtown area.
- Search for the Sheep: The heart of the adventure lies in locating the elusive "Sheep on the Shelf" at each participating venue. Participants are reminded NOT to disturb the sheep from its designated spot.
- Collect Stickers: Once the sheep is discovered, participants can verify their find and collect a special sheep sticker from the business's checkout desk. To qualify for the grand prize, a sticker must be stamped on the card from all participating locations.
- Enter the Drawing: After successfully filling their cards with stickers, participants are encouraged to drop them off through the mail slot at the Downtown San Angelo office, located at 24 W Concho Avenue (next to ARock Salon). The deadline for submissions is December 22nd.

On Friday, Dec. 22, one lucky winner will be drawn at random from the submitted entries. The winner will be promptly notified and must pick up their prize within 30 days of winning at Downtown San Angelo, during normal business hours.
As for the grand prize details, organizers have teased that the information will be announced soon.
