The synopsis for Furisoa: A Mad Max Saga reads:
As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trails as she puts together the means to find her way home.

Young Furiosa will be played by Anya Taylor-Joy (The Northman, Last Night in Soho) who will try to survive the Wasteland. In Mad Max: Fury Road, audiences learned that Furiosa was kidnapped from her home and spent time rising through the ranks until she took Immortan Joe’s wives and escaped the Citadel. Of course, Immortan Joe and his band of followers caught up to Furiosa and Max, who then turned the tide in an explosive ending where Immortan Joe met his demise.
Another newcomer to the franchise is Chris Hemsworth, who will play the Warlord Dementus, the leader of the bike gang that originally kidnapped Furiosa.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, is directed by Mad Max creator George Miller, who directed Mad Max: Fury Road plus the other installments into the franchise, In 2015, Fury Road claimed 10 Oscar nominations and won six of them.
