Art in Uncommon Places Reveals New Augmented Reality Art

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo art club, Art in Uncommon Places, continues its work across town, this time with an augmented reality tour near Downtown.

The tour starts at the Uncommon Places office and then travels around what they call the San Angelo Art District. It features the 'Dream of Steam' painting near the railway museum and a large spray paint mural near the Concho River.

This tour is different from other projects. Along with the beautiful art, Director Dr. Gigi Perez-Langley and President Julie Raymond went to a Central art class and had them design augmented reality within the art with the help of 'Eyejack.' See an example below:

To see all of the paintings visit the Art in Uncommon Places office at 701 S Irving or of course find the painting, scan the QR code, download the app, and enjoy.
