CHICAGO, IL – One of TV's most beloved characters, Jerry Springer, was pronounced dead on Thursday morning at the age of 79.
According to multiple reports, on Apr. 27, 2023, Springer died from cancer that he was only diagnosed with a couple of months ago.
Springer is known for the hit show 'The Jerry Springer Show.' On his show, Jerry would help guests go through shocking life situations such as paternity tests, catfishing situations, and much more. Some claim the show was scripted, but before his death, Springer claimed that the majority of it was just people acting out on TV.
This show would be the catalyst for other tabloid talk shows like Maury, the Steve Wilkos Show, Cheaters, and so many more.
