HOLLYWOOD- The trailer for the bizarre true story about drug smugglers, criminals, tourists, and an apex predator has dropped!
Cocaine Bear, inspired by an event that occurred in 1985, follows. a bear that ingests a huge amount of cocaine that was thrown from a plane.
The premise of Cocaine Bear reads:
“This wild thriller finds an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists, and teen converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of cocaine and gone on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow… and blood.”
This trailer may be unsettling for some viewers.
The film is directed by Elizabeth Banks and includes an ensemble cast including:

The film also stars the late Ray Liotta, who died in his sleep earlier this year. Liotta starred in many mobster movies like Goodfellas and The Many Saints of Newark.
Cocaine Bear is set to hit theaters February 24, 2023.
