No More Waiting: John Wick Chapter 4 Drops First Trailer

 

LOS ANGELES – A trailer has just dropped for the next installment of the John Wick franchise, John Wick: Chapter 4.

Superstar Keanu Reeves returns as the titular character who just wanted to retire and live a quiet life with his puppy. After being pulled back into his former life, he broke one rules in killing someone on “The Continental” grounds in Part 2.

John Wick 3: Parabellum, featured Wick on the run from just about every assassin on the planet set on him by the High Table, a council of the underworld’s most powerful crime lords and organizations.

Now, the synopsis for Chapter 4 reads:

“John Wick uncovers a path to defeating the High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.”

John Wick: Chapter 4 features some heavy hitters in  Donnie Yen (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) Hiroyuki Sanada (The Last Samurai), Bill Skarsgard (IT), and Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption).

Returning to the fold is Laurence Fishburne as the King of the Bowery, who was cut up in the John Wick 3, Ian McShane as Winston, and Lance Reddick as Charon.

Chad Stahelski, the director of all the John Wick films, returns for Chapter 4 so expect an action-packed film yet again.

John Wick Chapter 4 is set to hit theaters on March 24, 2023.

The John Wick series is mindless pap, but it is well done mindless pap.

Ya gotta love Fishburne, McShane, and underrated Clancy Brown, who was so magnificent in Shawshank.
